Product Questions

How do Control Flow devices work?

Control Flow HL2024® devices are pressure independent flow regulators. When fitted to a property they give a smooth and optimal constant flow of water to your home.

Find out more about how Control Flow works.

How do Control Flow devices save me money?

By regulating the flow, the device reduces water wastage which can be caused by the fluctuations in pressure and flow that occur throughout the day in the mains system.

How much money can I save?

On average our devices save 84 litres of water per household per day, and this translates to 7 kWH of gas per household per day. So, saving water not only saves you money on your water bills it also saves money on your energy bills, up to £360 per household per year.

Service Questions

What is a Water MOT or Water Audit?

Our service varies depending on location. Ordinarily a Cenergist team member will visit your home to check water flow rates and, where possible, address any minor leaks. If suitable, we’ll install a Control Flow water-saving device, which helps reduce water and gas usage without any noticeable changes in your water flow.

How much does the service cost?

The device, service and installation are FREE. Funded by your local council, housing association or water company.

Where can the devices be fitted?

We will either fit the device in your meter chamber, next to the stop cock inside your home, or attached to your hot and/or cold inlets to individual outlets.

How long does it take to install a Control Flow device?

Our Cenergist engineer will be in your home for about 30-45 minutes to conduct the service. During this time this will determine which product is most suitable for your home by checking the flow of water coming from your taps and showers.

Can every home have a Control Flow device installed?

Technically yes, most homes can have a Control Flow device installed. However, we don’t think we can make any significant savings on your water and energy bills, we won’t install. Our Cenergist engineer will decide which device is most suitable.
